Sherry Boodram

Sherry Boodram is the CEO and Co-Founder of CannDelta Inc., where she is responsible for providing regulatory expertise and developing strategies to ensure regulatory compliance within Canada’s existing cannabis framework.

Prior to founding CannDelta Inc., Sherry spent several years in the federal government, most notably Health Canada’s Medical Cannabis Program as a Senior Regulatory Compliance and Enforcement Officer where she was responsible for licensing application reviews and on-site facility inspections under the legislative regimes of the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR) and Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR). She also contributed to field level input during the drafting of the current Cannabis Regulations. As such, she has demonstrated in-depth knowledge and experience in the cannabis industry and has spoken at cannabis conferences in Canada and abroad.

Sherry holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from York University, a Hon. B.Sc. from the University of Toronto, and a Graduate Certificate with Honours in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs and Quality Operations from Seneca College. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Professionals in Regulatory Affairs (CAPRA).

Jennifer Caldwell

Jennifer has indulged her love of science in many different roles, most recently in quality assurance, compliance, licensing and regulatory affairs in the cannabis industry.

In both her current Consultant role and her previous role as Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs at Peace Naturals, Jennifer has been intimately involved in all aspects of the day to day operations of a licensed cannabis facility including Good Production/Manufacturing Practices, product specifications and release, licensing, Regulatory liaison with Health Canada, standard operating procedure development, education/outreach, research and development, curriculum development and training.
Jennifer and the team at CLE build relationships built on trust, transparency and respect as they guide their clients through each step of the complex cannabis licensing process.

Lucas McCann

CannDelta

Dr. Lucas C. McCann is the Chief Scientific Officer at CannDelta Inc. where he provides scientific oversight of all projects. Lucas is an organic chemist by trade specializing in the synthesis, purification, distillation, and extraction of lipophilic compounds. He is an expert in natural product synthesis, industrial scale processing and laboratory set-up and installations for medicinal research and development.

While employed at Health Canada’s Inspectorate lab in Toronto he honed his regulatory knowledge, technical writing skills and learn about quality systems. He now specializes in new technology regulation, lab practices, and scientific/regulatory document writing at CannDelta.
