Michael Miller is a venture capitalist, writer, and the Director of Finance at White Sheep Corp., a cannabis operating and investment firm with assets in Canada, the United States, Australia, and southern Africa. At White Sheep, Michael oversees the firm’s venture portfolio and specializes in valuations, deal structuring, financial accounting, and corporate structures. Michael’s investigative writings on the cannabis industry have been published in New Cannabis Ventures, TheGrowthOp, and Lift, and he has made appearances on BNN, Vice, and the BBC. Michael is also the co-author of “High” Profits from Accounting for Cannabis Plant Inventory, the world’s very first accounting business case on the cannabis industry that was published by the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School.
Daniel Sax is the Founder and CEO of Sensi Properties, Canada’s first cannabis real estate investment company. Sensi works with LPs in order to unlock the capital trapped in their real estate and help them grow in a non-dilutive fashion. Daniel has a deep background in real estate acquisitions, development, asset management, workout and finance. He was worked on over $5B of real estate deals across Canada, the US, and Germany. He has a bachelors in economics from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, as well as a masters degree in real estate from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
